Stephen Theodore Badin Guild
Named in honor of Father Stephen Theodore Badin, who made the first planned benefaction to Notre Dame, the Badin Guild was created to recognize and thank those families and individuals who support Notre Dame by means of a planned gift.
Membership in the Badin Guild is extended to those individuals who have informed us in writing that Notre Dame has been included in his or her estate plans. Documentation of the planned gift is required—for example, a copy of the pertinent provisions in your will or trust, a copy of the life insurance policy naming the University as beneficiary, or a letter from your attorney stating that you have included Notre Dame in your estate plans.
Upon receipt of such documentation, you will be in enrolled in the Stephen Theodore Badin Guild and availed of all associated benefits.
Benefits of Membership
